JOHNNY

I became a Piercer, Laser Technician and Bloodborne Pathogen Instructor for one reason other than the love of the industry. I was sick and tired of all the stereotyping that goes with trying to get a job without being discriminated against for your appearance.

Sonic works Monday to Sunday every week 11 am to 7 pm and is available for appointments and consultations.

Sonic decides to close Chronic Tattoo aka Sonic Tattoo's second location. Chronic Tattoo lasted almost 3 years and was profitable but the the decision to close it was basically for a few simple reasons. The ability to be in two places at one time was almost impossible with all of my other business commitments and the belief that one sucessful studio is enough. Mostly and finally, when you work in this industry you meet all types. The type of contractors that worked at this location felt it was better to steal and disregard everything that makes a studio good. It wasn't good enough to be treated well and allowed to have the freedom to work independently for these individuals. They're someone else's problem now.

January 17, 2000
It was now that I decided it was time for Sonic Piercing to expand into tattooing and became Sonic Tattoo. The next step was to find some tattoo artists even though I only needed one to open the new studio. The first people I called were friends I knew had recently quit other studios and were probably doing nothing but sitting on their asses surfing the net.
